Q1 What Flavours of Cake can I have?

A. Fruit or/and Chocolate Biscuit in Bottom and Middle T's, and Choc Madeira, Lemon, Fruit Cake, Carrot or Chocolate Biscuit for the Top Tier.

Q2. Can I have the cake in the colour that I want?

A. Here at A Piece of Cake, we can customise any of our cakes to suit your needs., i.e. To match the colour scheme of the bride/bridesmaids dresses. However, very dark colours may incur an additional fee depending on cake model.

Q3. Do you deliver?

All our cakes are on a pick-up basis, and can be picked-up between 10 and 12 the morning before. Ted will be there and will make sure the cakes gets safely and snugly into the boot of your car. We find that this particular pick-up time is ideal for any journeys on the M50 (Which is only 3-4 minutes from the KnockLyon exit) as it is off peak hours.

Q4. What Size of cake to I need?

Amount of tiers depends on the number of guests attending your wedding. As a rule of thumb, three tier (10, 8, 6) round would be suitable for a wedding up to 130 guests, and 4 tiers (12, 10, 8 6) suitable for a wedding with around 200 Guests.

Q5. How much time do I have to allow to order my cake?

Lead times are usually around 2 months.

Q5. How is payment made?

A 100 Euro booking deposit and balance on the morning of pick-up.
